A distinguished Eagle Scout, Chris holds a Double Major Bachelors of Science in Engineering and Statistics from James Madison University. He furthered his education with a Graduate Certificate in Aerospace Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.

As a Licensed Professional Engineer, Chris boasts a successful career marked by significant achievements. He served as the lead engineer for the design, manufacturing, and integration of five major subsystems for the JWST thermal pathfinder test. His expertise extends to the design and testing of space flight hardware, culminating in the prestigious Robert H. Goddard Exceptional Achievement Award and a NASA Group Achievement Award.

Chris' leadership is incredibly diverse. In the medical device sector, he led initiatives for manufacturing process improvements of existing product lines and oversaw product design and development that include patient applications. Within government contracting for the Navy, Chris successfully developed and managed the technical aspects of contracts valued at hundreds of millions of dollars for maintenance and operations. His contributions also include comprehensive risk analysis and mitigation strategies, implementing enterprise business intelligence through data-driven insights, and a proven ability to optimize processes by successfully leading two enterprise-level Six Sigma projects through the entire DMAIC process, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Chris is a devoted family man. He and his high school sweetheart, Ashley, reside in Chesapeake, VA, where they cherish spending time with their two children, Cameron and Caroline. In their free time, Chris enjoy staying active through boating adventures, coaching baseball, serving as den leader, and games with friends.
